I've had the same queen size bed for about six years. After putting "quite a few miles" on it, it has come time to replace it. The springs have given out resulting in the bed sinking in the middle when I would lay in it. Very uncomfortable.

Last week, after too many sleepless nights and waking up with back aches I ordered a new King Size Sealy Posturepedic (the kind with a thick comfort pillow layer ), frame, head and foot... yesterday the crew came out and set it all up and took away the old broken mattress. (I had them put the old frame, head and foot in the garage for later use)

This new bed is awesome!!!! Over time I had gotten used to the "dent" in the middle of the bed, but now that I have a new mattress and box set... WOW.

I looove how big the King size is! Sooo much more room to romp and play!

You've got to be in heaven now elsewhere, we bought a new one about a year ago, a Rodeo Drive by Sealy, a no flipper, BIGGIE SIZE. It is the max, nothing like sleeping on a good, strong, firm matress. Watch out that you don't spend all your time in bed and away from us, though!!!

    Elsewhere,

your bed sounds good, but I luv mine, its a king softside waterbed. I know, u probably thought no one makes them anymore, but they do and I own one. It is so wonderful and it it can be heated. It is all I can do to get out of it in the am

I'm getting a new bed in a few days. It's one of those sleep number beds. Instead of springs you use air. The name of the co is select comfort. They are really comfortable I carn't wait to get it here. Elsewhere enjoy those pillow tops are very comfy also.

Enjoy the new bed Elseware. Hey, wednesday I still have my full waterbed from way way back. Probably before you were born. Use to make them for awhile. Can't beat them during cold weather.

Bronzefist, wow a full size water bed , original .I would really like to see that. I am now a kid, around 50, and have had water beds since the 70's. I have had all kinds, but i luv this softside. They have a problem with sagging however, the material that covers the mattress can sag. U just have to replace the zip up container.

I tried several "mattresses" before settling on a Tempurpedic. It was tough to get used to for the first two or three nights, but now it's heaven. My old mattress was kinda like yours - springs giving way, starting to sag in the middle. The ONLY thing I don't like about the tempurpedic is when you change positions. It takes a few seconds to 'fit' to your body. I was just used to having the old one feel the same when you rolled over. It really does feel like you are sleeping on a fluffy cloud - no pressure points on your body.

They're the ones that are advertised as being used in the Nasa space program aren't they? I never understood that cos I thought astronauts didn't need beds in zero gravity. Anyway they do look comfy.

I've had the same bed for about 10 years. I think it's time for a new one cos I'm jealous of Elsewhere's comfyness at night.
