Goose Down Comforters... are they all white in color?

I decided to go nuts with comfort with my new bed so the other day I ordered some 820 Thread Count Satan sheets and now I am looking around at Goose Down Comforters... but everywhere I look all I see are white comforters. I'd like to think I can get something a bit more interesting than white, but I'm starting to wonder if white is the only color that I can get Goose Down comforters in.

Does anyone know if I can get something other than white?

How do you all like your Tempurpedic and Sleep Number beds? That's what we are looking at, but they are both pricey. Don't want to make another boo-boo like last time. $1,600 and it did not even last 5 years before problems developed. Sheesh...

Really good comforters come in white because you're expected to buy a duvet (or comforter cover) in the color(s) you want. Or you can buy a comforter that's not made of feathers but will be covered in a material that will match pillow shams and sheets (Bed in a Bag). Try the Westpoint Stevens outlet at an outlet mall for some good bargains on Ralph Lauren sets which are quite luxurious.

The problem I've had in the past with duvets is that they tend to slip around and the comforter can end up in a heap at the bottom of the duvet, depending on how much the comforter is getting slung around -- it's kind of like a huge pillowcase.

Yes, the older I'm getting (and I'm over twice your age, why!) the more I realize why rich people carry their own bed linens when they travel. Or maybe I'm just staying in cheap hotels . . .

You can buy a set of sheets that is a duvet cover and bottom. So, yes, they come in white. You are not supposed to wash them, as they are down-filled! Buy a cover/sheet set (or 2) and wash them every week.

It's not only easy, but very hot!

    ahem,
