My mother in law is always sending me these things. I smile and shake my head, say 'thanks but it's not true'. She sleeps better, and I have something to smile about. No biggie.

trying to take away religion is like trying to take away irrational fear and change everyones mind to accept a world devoid of gods, spirits and things that go bump in the night.
...its a great idea, but its not something anyone
currently has the power to do, nor likely ever to have.
stock up on cannned goods
Perhaps these rumors are started by grocery stores?
FunkyDerek's Discount Grocery -- stock up now before THEY won't let you!

blondie -- Inquirer, you must need glasses. I tried to highlight this
Alert: Listeners and Readers: The UN was contacted and they say this is a HOAX!
inquirer -- Yeah, I saw that, but why would the UN necessarily tell you the truth? I reckon if some organization wanted to ban religion, I think they would want to go ahead with it.
The point is -- I am not suprised of anything anymore. It only took 3% of Germany to be taken over by the supressive Nazi regieme. What could we do about it if they wanted to ban religion? I think they would if they could.
