  amazon is going thru a transistion.. they've instituted a new plan where you pay 79 bux a year for 2-4 day free shipping... instead of the usualy 5-10 day free shipping....

  i buy from amazon every month. up till this change, i always got my free shipment books within 3 days.. once they started trying to get people to buy into this new program my free shipment books were taking almost 2 weeks. i aint buying into the program, if they irritate me too much i'll start buying from barnes and noble again!

  I emailed them in their little help area yesterday. They responded last night and said the delay was because of a "system error." The shipment got mailed yesterday and I'll receive it Monday. They did say they would refund the shipping charge as a goodwill gesture. So I'm satisfied. This is just a lesson to me to not be the procrastinator with birthday presents. I just told Mozz that we'd have to celebrate it all over again.
