Where is Jesus?
I think about this every day, and I think Jesus is everywhere.
He's in the hope that I have that my baby
will be with me tomorrow. He's in the joy when I smile
He's in my steps, my solo steps
When I walk that country mile.
He's in the warmth of the sun on my face,
When I step into my tiny country place.
He's the smell of the land I till up to seed,
He's the childen who's faces I raise up to feed.
He's the light of my life, and the dark of my night,
He's the one who brought a poor one to sight.
He's everywhere I am, everything I smell, everything I plan,
I am nothing without him, he's the great I AM.
