I know the dubs teach you otherwise, but yes there are and always have been groups persecuted for their religious beliefs. IMO religious persecution has not gotten worse over time.

The truth is, humans are aggressive and will find any excuse they can to fight/conquer others for their property and control over others. Religion is just an excuse!
