    Bill,

I am so jealous that you went to Japan! On an order of good work too!

I actually stayed in the Kansai area for about a month almost four years ago. In addition to attending some classes, we got to do all of that cool historical stuff. Thank goodness I was no longer a JW because I could really appreciate my culture and Todaji Temple in it's fullest! Did you fit into heaven? I was afraid I would get stuck so I just figured that if I ever have children, I would send my children through when they are babies. (P.S. To everyone that thinks that sounds crazy: there is a square hole cut out of one of the columns that hold up the temple. It is rumored that if you go through the hole, you get to go to heaven. It is a rather small hole. Apparently, only small people go to heaven. Who would have figured?)

Another interesting note: When I stayed in Kobe (near Osaka), I passed by a Kingdom Hall on the train everyday. I always wondered about Japan's branch.

Thank you for the good update and hope that all goes well with you and your endeavors!

    Much Love, forgetmenot

Spreading thy apostate nonsense round the world. It is embarrassing - they will think all former Witnesses turn out like this!!!

As we say in northern england...you talk shite...grow up and get a grip on life.

Back to the main topic, GREAT JOB!!!!

I think it's unfortunate that the WTS promotes going and knocking on every person's door, yet when someone came to their door they basically were "not interested" that is VERY interesting to me.

    Great job Silent Lambs!

Thank you for taking a stand and being the voice of the children and abused. Your message is an important one to those who are not aware of the WBTS ridiculous policy on child molestation.

If any of you lurkers feel negative about Bill Bowen's work, remember this:

He is exposing an organization that never says "We apologize"

He is exposing an organization that never says "We were wrong".

Despite all of the harm done by false prophecy, breaking up families, hiding wrongdoing and lying to authorities

across 120 years, they never say "We are sorry for misleading...."

The head of a major bank in Japan publically bowed and apologized for the errors of his business recently. Leaders of the

Catholic church have done much the same - but never the Watchtower.

The Watchtower is wrapped up in the secret conceit that, in fact, they are never wrong and never need to

apologize for anything they do, no matter how obviously in error they were. They will simply explain their sins

away as 'tests' and quietly blame others.

So, if you find Bill's methods not to your taste, keep in mind the cold hearted, arrogant cult he is exposing.

Randy, thanks for posting the info!

The WT reacts the same way all over the world when they have a "Silentlambs visit." In practice, they simply don't care about the welfare of children. They're only an heterodox printing corporation, that's all.

    Great post, Randy!

Thinking of you from across the pond.

    All the very best,

Bill's visit was hosted by a good friend of mine that brought me over to Japan a few years ago to educate pastors on the Jehovah's Witness cult. There are quite a few good guys over there who want to see the Watchtower shrink up to their bikinis and run around the streets in shame. The Witnesses are slowly dying over there like they are here, eat your heart out Ted Jaracz! Why not take a vacation in Russia for an indefinite period of time, you fundamentalist freak!

silentlambs, I continue to applaud you. What you are doing is sooo important. After I left the jws and put myself through college, I worked as a social worker. Several clients were jws who were currently or had been through heinous sexual abuse. Although I had no knowledge of that going on when I was a jw myself, through my patients and talking to their elders, I saw how horrific abuse is perpetrated by a high control group and its dysfunctional power structure and rules. My heart goes out to anyone who went through that. I can't even imagine how horrible it must have been.

To the critics (and I've had my share of my own critics when I've spoken out), I guess you are entitled to express your opinion. No one's stopping you. (Pointing out that you enjoy free speech just like those you criticize.)

OTOH, I think you need to have your heads examined. Anyone who speaks out honestly and politely is doing no wrong and gives no cause for anyone to think they make ex-jws look crazy. If you are embarassed about that, you need to ask what it is inside of you that would make you be embarassed? That is definitely your issue, not the messenger's.
