If I knew how many JW's would be around in 20 years do you think I would care? With that kind of talent I would rather play the lottery or bet the Trifecta at the Kentucky Derby a few years in a row, win then buy a mansion and a yacht.
and oh yea..........2 JW's seems about right (we can wish)

In the past these spirit channeling gurus, like the Watch Tower Publishing Corporation claims to be, have relied on the mark's superstitious beliefs in ghosts and goblins, on mystical manipulation . . . the gullibility . . . the ignorance . . . of the target market.
From what I am seeing, the target market is rather large. The potential seems to be there for incredible groups to continue to find the type of people willing to support their activities. The Watch Tower is more like a vice than anything else to the mark. It's an activity that produces the desired effect. It's like obsessive compulsive cleaning, or shopping. The compulsive Witness is restless, irritable and discontent unless they can find the ease and comfort they find at once from taking a few meetings, meetings others may take with impunity. It's their drug.
awh gary, but what if an alternative drug comes on the market that actually is reasonable, logical and spiritual? Yeah, I know, kind of like Adlai Stevensen, too honest and intelectual to be elected....

The Witness movement apart from the Watch Tower Corporation is powerless, pointless, and useless. If the Watch Tower sneezes, the Witness movement catches cold. If the world environment is such that radicle religious publishing companies prosper, then the Watch Tower will do fine. If there's a rational revolution, the Watch Tower company will have to be satisfied with the defectives who find her appealing.
I think a version of today's company will go forward. The company will mutate and modify and streamline . . . anything to survive. The Watch Tower company of 50 years ago that I was raised with is gone. It's been replaced. The same thing will keep happening.
