rwagner's post go me thinking. Are any of your ancestors famous?
The only famous one I can think of is Sir Robert Peel, I'm not too sure what he did. Then there's someone named Lady Burke, but I don't think she did anything important. Apparently one side of my family owned the Yorkshire Wollen Mills for a while, I'm not sure why that's important either. But on my dad's side, his family has been traced to MacDuff, Thane of Fife (really).
Also, I've a friend who's like 760th in line for the English throne, she doesn't seem to care too much.

PS. Rest of my family is dirt poor Irish. Oh wait, my great grandfather was an Irish revolutionary, if that counts.
