I'm so sorry scooby. We had a cat that we had to put to "sleep" and it was incredibly painful. I never understood until we lost our cat, how much pets can mean to people. Hang in there!

I'm sorry scoobysnax....
Pets are so nice, and we love them so much. I understand your sorrow.
My dog was killed while I was at pioneer school. I never cried so hard.
Even the CO's thought it was sad. Amazingly.
Never forget... "Dog is my co-pilot"

When my Dalmatian Charlie died a few years ago I said no more dogs and then one day a friend said her friend had a Dalmatian that was going to the pound, the family couldn't "handle her." So I now have a new friend. Maybe a visit to the pound would be good. Sorry to hear of your loss.
Sorry Scoob.. I'm the same way!

(((((scoob))))) Hang in there.
I am sorry Scoob..
I picked up a absolutely beautiful collie today (minus her matted hair and being able to feel her ribs) we need a home for her.
I know it is a little early for someone to take your special ones place, but, as it was stated earlier, rescue dogs love you forever.
I would love to see a picture.
Take care,
deborah
but DAMN!! Why do dogs have to do this to you.
Hi Scoob.
A good friend from here told me we can sometimes grieve more over a pet....such as a dog, than we can more than a relative or close friend.....because the animal never hurt us as people can. She told me this because I told her I cried over my last dogs death .....but I didn't cry over my fathers death.....and I loved my dad. It made sense to me.
Sorry for your hurt.

Sorry to hear about the loss Scoob,
I understand what it is like to lose a pet who loves you unconditionally. When my mixed shepherd/collie died after 14 years, we all cried like a baby. They really do become a part of family life.
