  Jean, the board seems pretty normal to me. You should have been here before the last USA presidential election. Really, things have calmed down a lot since then. One good thing about being an exdub is that you don't have to force yourself to be polite and genteel when you feel upset and need to vent. That doesn't mean it's cool to be mean or cruel though. It just means that sometimes people are having stressed out days and it shows in their posts. I know I tend to be more edgy in my posts when I have certain types of stress going on in my life.

  In my opinion, inspite of its flaws, this is still the best exjdub board on the net.

  Those who knew me when I first started posting here will tell you that I am very much different now. I don't apologize for being alive. I don't give a flying fig about hurting anyone's precious little feelings. We're all big boys and girls now, and I am not responsible for your inability to handle a few flames.

  You know what? I have to say that you are one of this Boards most worthy assets - it just would not be the same place without you. I have never known an 'on-line' person display such persistant tolerance, kindness and patience toward others. Just thought you should know that.

  As you know, I am consistently rude to everyone just in case they are WTS 'moles', or even worse, Republicans...lol

  I guess it all depends on how a person takes the response from someone else. IMHO, I thought things were kinda dull at times. But if you would like a good discussion, I am all game. People who get inflamed with discussions, don't bother me. We have a right to express ourselves. We should be glad they feel safe here with all the friends, who most of them came from the same messed up place.

  It's ok to feel angered by what has happened in their life, it's their way of healing. That is where unconditional love comes in. (something that wasn't thought in the borg)

  Actually I was one who did mention that there seemed to be a great deal more negativity lately but not for the petty reasons I see you guys lobbing fireballs at each other.

  The "More drama" in the previously referenced post could have been viewed in several different ways, I didn't view it in the context implied here, but more along the lines of there is always something going on...which there is. But I digress, that's not my place to read too much into someone elses post.

  When I said it, I was referring to the fact that there have been a great deal more people that seem to be here to argue and incite agressive responses than are here to help or share experiences, or even have a little civilized, intellectually stimulating discussion. It is not my place to say they should or should not be allowed to do so. But I did definately state that I thought I may take a little break from the forum due to MY opinions of it's influence on ME.

  Jeannie, things will get better. Hillary will be partaking soon and be back on his meds.

  Minimus is quite right Jeannie. His better half gave me some of her wonderful sheep-dip to lace my expresso withand I partook. It made me go bright red and start asking everybody boring and tedious questions. I think Minimus is missing the company of his 'seaman' and has turned his attention to me. He better not try to seduce me by posing with his paisley underpants on, I understand from that they were last washed in 1978. HS
