I am glad that he wasn't convicted, the evidence was shaky and well she was a sleaze-ball and many peopel wanted her gone and probably were standing inline by the car to kill her. You play...sometimes you pay.

    Sheila,

    You are SO right!

She never even came close to winning "Mother of the Year"!

    hugs,

He is .........and always has been...........INOCENT of the charges..............

The verdict is PURE and JUST!

If you are not satisfied..............WHO GIVES A SH*T?

I know .....I am connected with this case via family and friends.

    Justice has been done.

You only know what you hear from the media.

The media is about as trustful as the WTBTS.

    God Bless Robert Blake.

Now he can be a Dad to his daughter.

I agree. I saw the interview he did. His older daughter was also interviewed. I saw a loving father, not a murderer. I'm actually just delighted that he has been acquitted. I have always liked him, ever since first seeing him as Mickey in the Our Gang/Little Rascals series. I know both his daughters will be thrilled to have him home and free again.

I think he is as guilty as O.J. was. If she raped those guys, they got what they deserved for messing with her in the first place. It's pretty obvious he knew what was going to happen to her when he parked his car were he did and went back in the place they had dinner and leaves her in the car.But when your a star you can get away with it. If that had been an ordinary person, they would have been found guilty.

I was not sorry he got off. There was just something about the feel of the whole thing. Too weird, such a seedy bunch of people. And Robert loved that baby girl.

The defense called it a weak case built largely on the testimony of the two stuntmen - both of whom were once heavy drug users.

No eyewitnesses, blood or DNA evidence linked Blake to the crime. The murder weapon, found in a trash bin, could not be traced to Blake, and witnesses said the minuscule amounts of gunshot residue found on Blake's hands could have come from a different gun he said he carried for protection.

``They couldn't put the gun in his hand,'' jury foreman Thomas Nicholson told reporters outside court, adding that the evidence could ``never connect all the links in the chain.''

Prosecutors said Blake believed his wife trapped him into a loveless marriage by getting pregnant. They said Blake soon became smitten with the baby, Rosie, and desperately wanted to keep the child away from Bakley, whom he considered an unfit mother.

Bakley had been married several times, had a record for mail fraud and made a living scamming men out of money with nude pictures of herself and promises of sex.

For those of you who remember, the Beretta quatrain

Dont roll the dice if you cant pay the price

    nananananana dont do it!

Dont do the crime if you cant do the time

    Nananananananna dont do it!

So let it be written, so let it be done

    Really.

If you had gone out to dinner with someone , had reached the car and then discovered that you had left your glasses or something back in the restaurant----would YOU expect to find your dinner companion shot dead when you got back to the car?

Robert Blake didn't get away with anything. He has admittedly made some bad choices along the way---but murder wasn't one of them.

I think the State didnt make it's case and lost. Blake may not be an angel... but no hard evidence against him was entered. Blake went broke defending himself.

OJ Simpson on the other hand.... The State had the case made and blew it. Too much Hollywood grandstanding by Clark and Darden... they just didnt "git-er-done". OJ still has his freedom and a much better than average income. I dont think he paid a dime to the Wrongful death suit after he moved to Florida. He spent a ton of money to some really good spin-doctor lawyers who beat LA County like a drum.

MJ?... the state has it's stuff in a bag this time. They are in the house and ready to play. If he gets off I'tll be a miracle.

You're right, Hillbilly I saw him on an interview (maybe Barbara Walters?) a couple of months ago, and OJ was very adamant that he would NEVER pay the Goldmans a dime! He had some nasty things to say about them and made himself look more despicable than he already is. He turns my stomach.

I wonder if he is still trying to find the "real" murderer as he promised to do?
