This is quite a sticky subject. The fact that it IS about child molestation, and allegedly by someone who has done so much for kids, etc---the dynamics it has taken on are horrendous.

Just hearing the accusations spilled all over TV, make your skin crawl and your stomach do flips---which only leads to more anger and indignation towards the accused. People are thinking "how could he DO that" and are being more infuriated by the day as ths trial goes on.

But we don't KNOW if "he could do that" because it has not been proven. The accuser and his family appear to be liars and extortioners and have altered and changed and revised their stories more than a few times.

MJ is a very odd person, no doubt there, but as this has been brought out---it doesn't make him a pedophile. That remark that he made about sharing his bed with people, and that it was the most loving thing someone could do......made a lot of sense to someone who believed that to be true.

He mentioned being from a big family, and the kids were pretty much crammed together bedwise due to the economic conditions of the family. That house in Gary, IN was very tiny to hold so many Jacksons! We have had company, and I can say that we have given up our bed to someone who wanted to spend the night here, especially someone who was older and wouldn't "do well" on the pull-out sofa bed with the metal bar down the middle.

Our kids have have sleepovers where you couldn't even walk through the bedroom after lights out, because the sleeping bags were wall-to-wall. Kids were hanging off the beds and everywhere else....and nobody gave it a second thought.

What I guess I'm trying to say, that when you have a lot of kids and enjoy a lot of company, that nothing kinky or degraded is even thought of, when you bunk down for the night. A lot of folks live like this, and it didn't bother me in the least when MJ made that remark. "Sharing a bed" to him did not have to mean anything but---sharing a bed.

I hope I'm explaining this right. (sigh) Not every family has a spare bedroom to offer friends and a lot of what MJ seemed to do through the years, did not mean that he was involved in doing anything inappropriate.

He may very well be found guilty...who knows? But I really don't feel that he is.

Due to the growth I've made in the past year, I no longer care about popularity or being liked. Well, I do like being liked, but it's no longer critical.

This is an extremely personal issue for me,as I have loved ones who were falsely accused. You wouldn't believe the nightmare.

That said, I do know the nightmare of being abused personally as well.

I will be writing a book about all this. I have some good help from published writers. It may take a while, but I have a story which needs to be told.

Several years ago, not too far apart in time, there were several people in Washington state and in

California, that were convicted and imprisoned for child abuse.

It finally turned out that the cause was over zealous investigators that finally came up with so called evidence and convinced the courts to convict.

There was some genuine hysteria and a religious like fanaticism on the part of the police and the accusers.

They began to see child molesters everywhere.

There are enough genuine pedophiles and damaged children to keep the authorities busy. We don't need false arrests to confuse the problem.
