Ah, voluntad is "will." That makes sense. I thought my guess of "work" seemed a bit off.

I wonder if they'll call this release another "trumpet blast" from the book of Revelation.

So, is it true that the new Organization book gives direction on how to make the announcement regarding disfellowshipped and disassociated people?
Are they now going to just simply state from the platform that so-and-so "is no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses"?
No more distinction between DF'd and DA'd people?
Does this mean that they are doing away with judicial processes all together, and if someone is deemed to be going contrary to the April 1, 1986 WT directive that they will be considered as "no longer one of Jehovah's Witnesses"?
Approved association with Jehovah's Witnesses requires accepting the entire range of the true teachings of the Bible, including those Scriptural beliefs that are unique to Jehovah's Witnesses.
Does that mean if you stop going to meetings, if you stop submitting Field Service? reports, they have the nod from Brooklyn to make this kind of announcement?
Was the reason why they want so many Inactive? people in attendance today so that they have a legal leg to stand on in making an announcement (according to the laws that govern ratification of contracts)?
Any thoughts on this?

Scully,
I was thinking last night of a friend of mine. Her husband was a PO and no longer goes. It does not look like he will ever go back. This has been very hard on the family. I was wondering if this change DA DF would make the pressure once again be put on the family members to prod him to the meetings. For fear he would be announced No longer a JW. What a mean thing the org is doing once again. As right now this family does have a some peace with him just not going and not DF.

ps........I am going to send the exPO a CoC book anonymously. hehe

How ironic the book would be "released" here (in the form of a photograph) before dubs got their copies.
There has already been more discussion on this topic on the forum than there will be in any KH in the world; most dubs have never read the previous OM book, and won't bother to read this one, either. They will, however, accept their "free" copy. And many of them -- but not as many as in the old days -- will donate something for it.

Ok folks let me get this straight.
From what I am reading here, are the dubbies NOT aware of what this special event/release is about, and we ARE? If so, isn't THAT interesting?
