The person must have cognitive function. The person must have a terminal illness. Once the application is granted, the person is given a script for a lethel amount of narcotics.

One thing I find to be the most ironic the same "right to life" that is fighting for Terry Schiavo is the group that is doing it's best to block the only research that can help her if her condition can be reversed, stem cell research.

I feel she must be helped in dying with dignity, instead of just disconnecting her feeding tube and watching her die slowly.
I don't support keeping her alive in that awful state. I support in helping her die immediately and painless.
