why would any so called Christian book be restricted? Is the Bible restricted? I suppose the answer is yes - we should only read their version and only with their interpretations.

Just another example of their separating and labeling the "sheep". Talk about "class" distinctions. Some get the book, others don't. I remember when we got our new PO and he listed all the book study groups on the bulletin board. All the BAPTIZED publishers got their names in CAPITAL LETTERS. Anyone unbaptized had their names at the bottom, separated from their family group, in tiny little letters.

Knowing the congregation you went to, Cathy, I can believe it.
I did go to congos though that would not put up a list at all in case they hurt someone's feelings.
I guess they have some Grade A (fill in the blank) on the elder body.

Its like frikin Nazi Germany. Maybe it's a way to coherse some of the unbaptized publishers to take the dump so they don't feel like such outcast losers.

do know that they added questions to the baptism questions, giving the elders a loose page to add...on blood I think.
on page 20 they make this statement, "Jesus...serves as Head of the congregation in this 20th century."
on pages 26 and 27 they discuss the corporations, mentioning only two...I'm sure they will add the new ones
on pages 43 and 44 they will have to update Congregation Book Study Conductor to Congregation Book Study Overseer
on page 114 they will have the change the hours for an auxiliary pioneer to 50 hours/mo and regular pioneers to 70 hours/mo
on page 124 they will have to update it to the donation arrangement, "All such literature is made available at a nominal cost to the publishers, who, in turn, offer it to the public usually on a contribution basis." Then they discuss how the MS take in money, keeping an accounting of it.

I was thinking the same thing. It will be interesting if they follow the pattern or whether someone high up has enough of a finger on the pulse of popular culture to say, Whoa.... In that case, it's probably the OW book.
