What if we started a Watchtower Writer fund?

What if we started a fund that guaranteed one of the Bethel or GB old-timers an income and a place to live for the rest of their life if they turned over information and documents that would crush the Society?

There's gotta be some rich apostates out there right?

After reading "Crisis of Conscience" and "Search of Christian Freedom" I was struck by how many men in the Writing Department and Executive Committees are fully aware of "the truth about the truth" and how these men are scared to say anything for fear of being cast out of Bethel with NOTHING.

It also explains why some of those brothers that I met while there seemed almost sad and solemn and kept to themselves.

If one of these men knew that he and his wife would have a place to live and a regular income for the remainder of their days ... who knows what could come of it ...

Anyways ... just my thought for the day. It hit me last night while reading "Christian Freedom. Just thought I'd throw it out there.

I dont know - pretty far out idea. You are right about some being trapped due to age, ect. But I think by the time they reach that point they would just ride it out, unless they are conscience stricken and just looking for a way out. That might happen.

    Interesting idea.

I find it an excellent idea, but who will administer those money? It's a matter of trust. To whom do we give our money?

Here's what I'd do if I were Satan and the WTS was God's earthly organization. I'd "inspire" some rich bastard to set up a fund like that and I'd put ads in all major news papers:

1,000,000 of legal dollars (after taxation) for a higher-up Bethelite who is willing to disclose classified information about the inner workings of the WTS. Join brother Brown who has now moved to the Cayman Islands. All he did to win his prize was come out and tell us the truth about the Truth. Next week it can be you!

I can only think of a few reasons why Satan hasn't done it yet:

    1) WTS has nothing to hide (ya, right).
    2) Satan is dumber than me. Gettin' old and tired mileading the entire earth since 1914. Nobody's paying me extra time and the earth's population has increased twofold (or more) since JC sat on his throne. Why is he waitin' so freakin long to get it out on me??? I'm fed up with his little games.
    3) Satan doesn't exist. (Yeah? Really?).
    4) WTS are Satan's buddies, or at least he doesn't care.
    5) Now here is the tricky one: Jehoover is using secret theocratic espionage warfare to protect his earthly servants' asses. (sly, innit?)

Do we really need any more proof that the WTBTS isn't what it claims to be?

What more information do you want? or need? It's all out there already. It's only those with blinkers who can't or won't see it.

    Cheers, Ozzie

Perhaps there would be a riot among Bethel old-timers to get the job...

I dont think its about proof for us, I think its about proof for the hangeron dubs. Of course I asked a dub (relitive thats not going to tell on me) What would prove to them that the witnesses arent the truth. She said "if they start going around shooting people. So even if a GB member came out again and did another expose, there'd still be some dubs who close their eyes and stick there fingers in their ears. The true benifit to a GB expose would be if it prevents more ppl from becoming dubs in the first place.
