Matthew 24, the chapter refers to not one, but two slaves.

    Q. Which of the two slaves had a preconceived idea of a certain time in which the master should arrive?

    A. Not the faithful slave. The evil slave could not have felt the master was delaying unless he was expecting him in a certain time period. The faithful slave doesn?t seem to have any thought for when the master might return, he simply serves faithfully. I don?t believe the ?meat in due season? represents anything but obediently caring for fellow servants.

    Q. Which slave felt the Master was delaying and began acting as if he had some authority over fellow servants?

    A. The unfaithful slave did not say with his mouth that the master was delaying, it is ?in his heart? he feels the master is delaying, so he began acting as if he ran the house. Instead of simply providing food at the right times, he began chastising fellow servants as if he had any authority over them, when he had not been given such authority.

    Q. Which slave assumed a superior position over other servants?

    A. The very people he was supposed to humbly serve he considered himself to have a superior position over. As for eating & drinking with drunkards, doesn?t drunkenness in the Bible often refers to drunk in power or self-importance (eg Isaiah)?

If you tried to look at the perspective of the supposed "faithful and discreet slave" it would look like God is blessing you.

They have millions of $ invested and in property. The money keeps coming in. Also God MUST be blessing them since look at how people will follow

them by just printing a book or giving a talk telling people "they" are God's chosen ones!

I wish that they would come down to the real world and see the tragedies unfolding in every JW's lives every day and then try and tell everyone that God is blessing them.

The Faithful and Discreet Slave is all the annointed alive at any one time on earth - they are represented by the Governing Body that is the answer to the question "Who really is the faithful and discreet slave?"

Another way to show that we trust the slave class today is to support its decisions. Even though we may not fully understand the

reasoning behind certain decisions, we know that upholding them will be for our lasting good. On occasion important issues have

been clarified, and we have wholeheartedly supported these decisions. As a result, Jehovah blesses us for our obedience to his

Word and to slave class. We thus show our subjection to the Master, Jesus Christ.

Mind controlling liars and thieves, I say.

Do not put YOUR trust in nobles

But that just means not to put your trust in "nobles" of the world. The Faithful Slave deserves all of our trust. Everything they have said has come true...They have never led God's people astray. They are God's channel...not nobles.

You'll have to excuse me...I had an impromptu labotamy this morning and i'm not feeling like myself.

Truthseeker made me think. (THANK YOU) I have given a lot of thought to wordings that the WTS does in thier publications. Words like: Obey, Submit, Trust, Slave, etc. (You get the picture). We are always submitting our free will, commanded to trust to the Elders, the WTS, the so and so.. etc.

The one word that always used to haunt me was: Submit I still cringe when I hear it used in certain applications.

As a woman being told to submit in all things to a headship, brought about the question of trust. How can we submit to a Elder, a Husband or any person for that matter. When we don't know if we can trust thier judgements, especially when they are fallable and have been proven incorrect a lot of the time. How can we even trust the motive for this command? When we do not have our needs met in the simpliest of matters like basic needs, encouragement, etc. How can we trust someone who will kick us when we are down ? Shun us when we need help. None of this makes sense!

Especially when we are commanded (by God~ Jah~ what ever you wish to call him/her) to be Christ like. Yet they are the furthest from being as thus. Yeah they are imperfect and so on. But when you are shown your mistakes and you fail to make the changes for the better then you are making an active decision to continue knowing that you aren't in line with the very word of God you claim to follow. How is that not sin?

I see excuse after, excuse for the behaviors exhibited. From High up all the way down. New Light, Old Light, what ever! Do something about it rather than continue in the same crap!

It makes me ill to continually see this over and over. Matrix like, they are plugged in so tightly that it takes an entire life changing event to wake up.

    Shiver!

    X.
