But all this goes back to the importance placed on works. We were taught that "man can't judge" but yet they judge all the time.
Did You Feel Superior To Those People Who Only Ever Came To The Memorial?

I didn't feel superior than those that showed up for memorial but unfortunately I did feel superior to those that showed up just for the Circuit Overseer's visit. These people would be MIA for six months and then there they were in all their glory, on time for every meeting, out in service mid-week and weekend, kissing up to the CO and then after he left they disappeared again.
Actually I still feel superior to them. If you're not gonna be a JW don't pretend twice a year when the CO shows up...just quit altogether.

The ones that make it to more meetings than just the memorial feel superior than...
The ones that go to all the meetings feel superior to those that miss some meetings.
Regular publishers with privileges feel superior to those regular publishers without.
MS feel superior to those publishers with privileges.
MS that do the regular pioneering feel superior to the ones MS alone.
Elders feel superior than MS.
Elders that regular pioneer feel superior to those that are only elders.
Auxiliary pioneer sisters feel superior than just regular publisher sisters.
Regular pioneer sisters feel superior than auxiliary pioneer sisters.
And so on, and so on.
It's just a vicious cycle of passive-agressive feelings of superiority with the WTBTS. And if anyone dares deny this, they're flat out lying.

..delinquent kids, prophets, lunatics..
No I didn't feel superior, I thought those people were great! It made the memorial all the more interesting when drunks, nutters and kids off the local estate showed up. In fact we had so many lunatics etc show up every year people said satan was guiding them into the KH to disrupt everything.

So true. Everyone feels important if they have the privilege of kissing the ass above them.

Aw, and those that have even the smallest of part in the assemblies, be it circuit or district, you should see them walking around all puffed up with pride and feelings that they sure are something else. So silly!
There's this elder in the congregation I attend that is very eloquent and always has parts in all the assemblies. He walks around as if he's God's greatest gift to the congregation. I just ignore him; don't acknowledge his presence whatsoever and I know it burns him so.

Wait! We were in the most judgmental religion on the planet, one that insisted we faithfully attend 250 meetings a year, and you want to know if we looked down on people who showed up ONCE???
Yes, of course we did.

I never really was the judging type. I honestly left the judging up to Jah. But if anything, I was peeved at those few inactive bros and sisters that would show up for the memorial or CO's visit. I felt that if they could show up for that, then why not the other meetings?? What else could they be possibly doing with their lives?
Otherwise, no, I did not feel superior to other witnesses. That might have had something to do with me never wanting to be an MS or higher. In my past congregations, elitism wasn't really based on your rank in the org, it was the materialism that you surrounded yourself with - your overall wealth.

We used to call someone who only came to the memorial "The Sundown Kid"

I never felt superior, I felt envious and a little jealous and very confused......
these brothers and sisters that didn't feel guilt because they missed all the other meetings of the year. And the kids my age that were'nt forced to go three times a week and field service on Saturday....Heck yea, I was envious...
I also noticed that they looked and acted exactly the same...just as nice as before. How did that work? I thought they were supposed to go crazy or something....That certainly caused some confusion for me.
