Every morning when I wake up, I give thanks to my Creator. I don't depend or need any human to remind me of what I personally believe, creation does.

If your concerned about thanking Jesus whom you cannot see, how many times in the course of our lives have we failed to thanks others, 'whom we can see?'

"...do you, however, the one teaching someone else, not teach yourself?" Romans 2:21

To me, your relationship with anything or anyone is a personal matter.

Thank BB, I'll try to remember Yashua as a more accurate rendering of His name. A JW mentioned this to me recently to defend his use of Jehovah instead of Jayweh or similar. I think he missed my point. He was the one who considered the spelling & pronunciation of God's name to be important, not me.

His error was to read from John's gospel & expect me to think the term "His name" meant something more than everyhing he is and stands for - His reputation.

Where in Scripture does it say "the letter kills but the spirit gives life" I suppose that is how I'd answer Undecided or anyone who points out the obvious contradictions. We take too much too literally & miss the oveall messages.

    Philipians 2:

5 Keep this mental attitude in YOU that was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, although he was existing in God?s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. 7 No, but he emptied himself and took a slave?s form and came to be in the likeness of men. 8 More than that, when he found himself in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient as far as death, yes, death on a torture stake. 9 For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every [other] name, 10 so that in the name of Jesus every knee should bend of those in heaven and those on earth and those under the ground, 11 and every tongue should openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

With this and many other Bible texts, I am certian that we can thank Christ everyday of our lives. Remember too that Jesus is the only way to talk to God and have our prayers answered.

So yes we should get down on bended knee and thank him.

Well, if you look at the lords prayer you see there is no mention of thanking jesus . Obedience I think would be worship in spirit and truth , loving your neighbor as yourself and loving the father as much as he did . I'm sure thanking him would not be soemthing he would disapprove of but in the end it won't get you eternal life . IMO
