    Can the pope resign?

He can do it but only voluntarely. He won't do it because he thinks that his soffering somehow benefits the cause and the people.

Yeah!?! Can you feel it??..... LOL

As head of the Catholic Church i would say he is the biggest Ecological Terrorist in the World.

The Birth control issue, in the Third World especially,is spiralling out of control!

Hey Bas your right, he does have a feeding tube. People are complaining about his age and uselessness, how come they don't remove his tube? What happen to what's good for the goose is good for the gander? This should be a hot topic, no? (ah, just stirring the pot)

Nah Golf, it would only be stirring the pot if there were any comparison.

As the Pope, as feeble and sick as he might be, is still thinking, feeling and aware...

I think he was pickled years ago and they just roll him out when they need him

LMAO. Someone at work told me the exact same thing yesterday. Speaking of the pope.. I remember when John Paul I became pope, the teacher in school told the story about the 'empty picture frames' in the vatican. The story somehow stuck with me and scared the living heck out of me for many years. When John Paul II got sick a few years ago, the empty picture frames haunted me at night, but this time around, I'm more resigned. I think that JWD has helped me to see that there's a lot of BS out there when it comes to religion.

BTW, does anyone know about the 'empty puicture frames', and if so, could anyone tell the story? I was very young when I heard it and I might have forgotten details.

I know Abaddon, but where was his influence when so much killing was taken place around the world? By the way, did he put his two cents in about this fiasco in Florida? I gather it's a political problem not a religious one, right?

I posted a thread like this a couple of years ago, when I thought the pope looke feeble then. He's like a Timex watch, just keeps on ticking somehow.
