god made me a short , fat, poor, no talent, cant sing, cant dance, saggy boobed, double chinned, plain brown haired, brown eyed housefrau.
how can i not praise him daily for his many blessings!

Hear a good joke in a movie I watched last night with the kids...
A priest takes a rabbi to a boxing match. Right before the bell rings to start the first round, the rabbi sees one of the boxers make the sign of the cross. The rabbi leans over and asks the priest what that means. The priest answers "not a dam thing if he can't box."

like many jws i saw gods hand in anything positive....finding work, getting accommadation, priveleges,assignments,coincidences...but have recently been asking myself how many of these can be explained in no other way
last time i thought it might have happened was when after several attempts at trying to get reinstated i went to a circuit assembly and was completely ignored by the chairman of the commitee that i had once again made a request to....so i went home and prayed that if j wanted me back he would have to come get me-i wasnt going to make the effort anymore....lo and behold nx day 2 elders from a different cong knocked on my door and when i opened it my first words were..oh my there is a god....well i eventually got reinstated and i prayed to j to please make ammends for the way i had been treated by overwhelming me with love and acceptance from the bros.. to get even just one friend back..and to help me fix things with my wife....nothing..nil..nada and whatever other words beginning with n carry the meaning of not one jot...
recently at an assembly a sister gave an experience that as a pioneer she looked in a shoe shop and saw some nice boots but couldnt afford them...nx day another sis in hall came to her house with the boots....answer to a prayer.....except that another family on the way to that assembly who had asked for a safe journey (as we all do....why) were hit by a runaway caravan and spent the convention in the hospital...the irony just knocks me out

I was at work and feeling a bit hungry, but had no change. As I was looking for a red pen in my desk I found 50 cents THAT I DONT REMEMBER PLACING THERE! Surely it was a miracle. Thank you Jesus for my doritos.

When I was a JW.....
...and I was at the lowest point in my life....
I experienced a miracle. You may not believe me, but I did. One Saturday morning while I was out in field service I was in a car group and we met a family from our hall that was experiencing a lot of problems of their own. Both of their daughters were I think disfellowshipped and they lived by themselves. Before I left, she pinned a single flower to my shirt. After I got home later that night I participated in what was one of many instances of silent protest before I left the org. I walked out of my parents' house at night, found a spot in the desert where I was alone, took the flower, and threw it into the desert as hard as I could. I put my service clothes in the washer and dryer.
The next day I took my service clothes out of the washer.
The flower was in the front pocket.
