At what point, does a JW become labeled Weak?
How little does a JW have to do, to be considered "Weak in the Org"

My girlfriend got a visit for not answering up.
I stopped meetings and don't go in service yet I got no visit!
I think it varies.

I mean, if you miss 1 meeting a week on a regular basis, are you considered weak?
If you preach 1 hour less than the average, are you labeled weak?
And, being labeled weak, changes with time. years ago, if the average was 15 hours a month, and today if the average is 9 hours a month in the field service, being labeled weak, has only to do with who you're competing with, not the biblical priciples....

I think it depends who you are. Standards seem to change depending on your previous activity.
If you were someone that was a gung ho pioneer and reduced your activities to 10 hours a month and missed 1 mtng a wk, you could be considered weak.
But if you were inactive and doing 10 hrs a month and missing 1 mtng a week, you would be a good publisher.

I think it probably depends on if you have Nazi elders or elder's with some kind of conscience left...and that is pretty rare (elder's with a functioning conscience).
I was considered "weak" as soon as my depression got to be too much for me and I only attended meetings sporadically and totally ditched service. So that caused our "loving and compassionate" elder's to start harrassing me and my husband about DOING MORE

Unless you're deathly ill, miss a few meetings.... You're spiritually weak.
Attend field service on Saturday mornings ONLY, no weekdays or Sunday.... Weak.
Not commenting often at the meetings.... Weak!
Arriving or leaving the KH with not enough time to mingle with the brothers & sisters.... Weak!
Not having little gatherings in your home to show hospitability towards your fellow JWs.... Weak!
Others don't see you donating $$$.... Weak!
Questioning any WTBTS rule or doctrine.... Weak, borderline apostate!
Getting friendly with non-JWs, other than to help them become a JW.... Mega Weak!
Preach often, but don't place WTBTS magazines and books, and don't have at least 1 Bible study.... Weak preaching techniques!

If you are not in the congregation's "spiritual clique"---you are weak.

Slimboyfat,
You must be one of those that they just couldn't wait to get rid of. There are a few in the congregation I attend.
I've heard elders say that they'd love for so and so to move or leave the organization, because they're just such a pain to them.
These are people that regardless if they're JWs or not, they're just trouble anywhere they go.

In dubland, spiritually weak is not just the opposite of spiritually strong. To be considered "strong," a list of things needs to be satisfied. Going to meetings and FS regularly, all by themselves, will not get you labeled "strong." The elders think that's what every publisher is supposed to do. Being considered spiritually strong starts there and then includes some of the other things that have already been mentioned in this thread.
Now, spiritually week, on the other hand, is different. You're considered "weak" if you fall short of these two fundamental requirements -- FS and meeting attendance.
When elders meet to discuss the appearance of the flock, which they are charged to do on a regular basis, they look first at FS records. If the publisher record card shows a six-month average that is below the national average (by more than one or two hours), that persons is a candidate for the "weak" label. Then the determining factor is meeting attendance. "Whose book study is he/she in?" will be the next question. The book study overseer will then weigh in with an opinion on that person's meeting attendance, and may also comment on the hours ("Those hours seem a bit low, but the person is out almost every weekend," or "We never see this person in FS.") Depending on those comments, the publisher is now moved into either the average publisher category or the "weak" column. If he's still borderline, the next question asked of the BSO is: "Does he comment at the book study?" If the answer to that is No, he is officially "weak." If the answer is Yes, the elders move on to the next publisher's record card.
The result: once designated "weak" by the elders, that's your permanent status unless you turn over a new leaf and move up in the rankings. Usually an elder, probably your BSO, will be "assigned" by the body to talk with you about your "weak" status, but in my experience this assignment is rarely fulfilled.
