you get annoyed when one of your threads peters out...or you make a comment on someone elses thread and it goes unacknowledged....but isnt it great when an old thread you'd forgotten about gets ressurected

but its much cooler when you dont revitalise a thread yourself but someone else does...its like getting a clap at an assembly without deliberately leading the audience

I don't mind all my threads dying out...in fact with some I've actually been happy when they died. I don't mind if I kill someone elses thread...in fact I've tried on many occassion to do just that.

I can demonstrate with this one...if you like?

the highest number of pages that i've ever gotten on a thread that I've started is....TA-DA!....TWO! and even page 2 had 1 post on it!
