do the gb go door to door...i was just wondering with all their bethel work and convention running and globe trotting whether anyone has 'witnessed' (sic) them actually going from door to door..(studies dont count)

When my husband did temporary construction at Bethel (3 times in the early 90's) he said at that time, they didn't go. Most of them were very elderly and no one expected it of them.
Now with the younger members, it's possible.

According to an active (he's almost convinced the WTBTS is a scam) elder they do go D2D. He went with out in FS with one when the newest KH here in Knoxville, TN. was dedicated.

I know for a fact that they do... it is very similar to watching the Catholic Cardinals wash the Pope's feet. Sure, it is supposed to be a "humble" act but that is not how it comes across.

My parents (when they were at Bethel) went out D2D nearly every week with a member of the GB and his wife who they were close to. Some do, some don't.

So I guess it comes down to the fact that the organization is not as united as we were always told. Depends on where you live and who you are.
