    qwerty,

    Sincere question, you said:

I don't believe as some do that Jesus was some sort of God in Mans form on whilst on earth. But he did receive all authority (seems to indicate the Kingdom authority) in Heaven and on Earth before his death and resurrection.

and then you cited a post-resurrection quote from Jesus about how all authority had been given him on heaven and on earth.

So how do you explain your contention that he had this authority "before his death and resurrection", please?

    Great job with Rev 21:3

When I sat through interminable meetings telling us to do MORE this, LESS that, making rules, rules, rules, I used to think of Ezekiel 28:10 (think its Ezekiel, might be Jeremiah) "command upon command, measuring line upoin measuring line..." Now that I've left the org and learned about the creeping blood policy, I think of the remainder of the scripture, "...here a little, there a little"

"But he did receive all authority (seems to indicate the Kingdom authority) in Heaven and on Earth before his death and resurrection. "

Actually, if i may, he recieved it AFTER. He did not have "all authority" in heaven and on the earth. While he was on earth, he DID have 'authority' on the earth. He had the authroty to forgive sins, literally take sicknesses into his own body and bear the illness, rebuke the wind and the waters, the fig tree, and if necessary, a mountain.

He definitely had 'all authority' on earth. When he was resurrected, the Father granted him "all authority IN HEAVEN and on earth."

    Peace to you,
    Aaron

Kes - Matt 28:18 (Edited)-Thanks Kes you are right see below.

Philo, Thanks & good point about Ezekiel/Jeremiah.

    Outnfree, You asked

Sorry for the confusion Kes and outnfree, I was forgetting this scripture was after his resurrection so, he did not have all authority untill after his res.
I ought to wake up first before posting.
Thanks for sending me the tape, by the way.

Is not chapter 21 after the thousand years not after
the big "A", which is after the six thousand years.
Of course according to Almighty Oz they don't believe
in seven thousand years anymore they have recieved
new light which must be coming from very far off cause
it takes so long to get here.

    Hi qwerty,

Am I understanding you correctly that when you quote Matthew 28:18 you are agreeing that he recieved the 'authority' AFTER his resurrection and not before?

    Peace,
    Aaron

Sorry I see what you mean,it's me I am thick in the head!
Yes, Jesus had been resurrected. He did not have all authority untill he was back in God's form.

Matt 28:16. Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them.
    17. And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.
    18. Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
    19. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
    20. "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.'' Amen.
