...The sample schedule below may be helpfulas you make your schedule......it includes just four basic activities; (1) attendance at congregation meetings, (2) family field service, (3) the family study, and (4) the consideration of the daily text. Including these on your schedule can help you to "make sure of the more important things".....Your family schedule need not be limited to just those four activities.

Well thank the Lord Jesus Christ------that's a huge relief! If the schedule were just limited to these four activities, we'd still have time to eat and go to the bathroom twice a week. What a burden eating and crapping can be when that time could be far better used preaching to people that aren't home and dealving into the WTS's new and improved revolving light.

Doinmypart, that one point is a review from the article on the six convincing lines of evidence that we are deep in the time of the end.

    w00 1/15 p. 12 "Keep on the Watch" ***

Let us therefore review six lines of evidence proving that we are living in the last days of this ungodly world.

    w00 1/15 pp. 12-13 "Keep on the Watch" ***

    Third,

we are living in the time of the eighth and final "king" mentioned in the prophecy recorded at Revelation 17:9-11. Here the apostle John mentions seven kings, representing seven world powers?Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome, and the Anglo-American dual world power. He also sees "an eighth king" that "springs from the seven." This eighth king?the last one that John envisions?now represents the United Nations. John says that this eighth king "goes off into destruction," after which no further earthly kings are mentioned.

    First,

we clearly see the fulfillment of the apostle Paul?s prophecy concerning "the last days." Paul wrote: "In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here

    Second,

we see the effects of the ouster of Satan and his demons from heaven, in fulfillment of Revelation 12:9.

    Fourth,

we are living in the period symbolized by the feet of Nebuchadnezzar?s dream image. The prophet Daniel interpreted this mysterious dream of an enormous image in human form. (Daniel 2:36-43) The four metallic parts of the image represent various world powers, beginning with the head (the Babylonian Empire) and extending down to the feet and toes (the governments that are ruling today). All the world powers represented in that image have made their appearance. We are living in the period symbolized by the feet of the image. No mention is made of other powers to come.

    Fifth,

we see a global preaching work being accomplished, which Jesus said would take place just before the end of this system

True, untouched territories still exist, and it may be that in Jehovah?s due time, a large door leading to greater activity will open. (1 Corinthians 16:9) Nevertheless, the Bible does not state that Jehovah will wait until every individual on earth has received a personal witness. Rather, the good news must be preached to Jehovah?s satisfaction. Then the end will come.?Compare Matthew 10:23.

    Sixth,

the number of genuine anointed disciples of Christ is dwindling, though some will evidently still be on earth when the great tribulation begins.

Hmmmm. More ripping on the UN. Verry interesting!!

It still amazes me that the ordinary JW is still believing this rubbish.

Why have they gone back to demonizing the UN again though?

The UN has about as much power as a flea on a dog, so why call it a king?

The longer I am out and the more I regain my senses, the more astounded I am at reading this tripe:

just four basic activities; (1) attendance at congregation meetings, (2) family field service, (3) the family study, and (4) the consideration of the daily text.

It just jumps off the page, doesn't it? These Big Four activities are all -- every single one of them -- about the WTBTS. They are not about Christian living or behavior. They have nothing to do with improving the condition of others or developing genuine Christian compassion or spirituality. They con't connect up to the Bible at all, except in the most peripheral way.

    1) Attendance at meetings: Where the discussions all center around the Watchtower magazine and related publications, that only contain scriptures designed to reinforce their own peculiar doctrine.

    2) Family field service: Where families will be herded door to door with lame presentations based on the Awake, primarily, featuring such "scriptural" topics as How to Train Your Dog.

    3) "Family study" means reading the WT or whatever book serves as the current book study "aid," not the Bible, because even "bible study" is dub talk for studying the publications of JWs.

    4) Consideration of the daily text -- where consideration will be given primarily to the comments lifted out of a past Watchtower study article. Daily Text = short scripture, long quote from the WT, which demonstrates clearly which is the most important source.

Dwindling my ass! Between 1993 and 2003, there was an increase of 73 anointed.

    AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!

This KM will cause me a major headache.

May is going to be a tough month for me and I suspect many other faders as well. I know we mention that the society does very little to retain their youth, but when they give very specific instruction like it sounds this KM does it makes the good jw mate frustrated, angry and super-dub like.

The Society loves using the buzzword "stream of time". Did they know where they were in the stream of time in 1968?

*** w68 5/1 pp. 271-273 Making Wise Use of the Remaining Time ***

5 God's seventh day and the time man has been on earth apparently run parallel. To calculate where man is in the stream of time relative to God's seventh day of 7,000 years, we need to determine how long a time has elapsed from the year of Adam and Eve's creation in 4026 B.C.E. From the autumn of that year to the autumn of 1 B.C.E., there would be 4,025 years. From the autumn of 1 B.C.E. to the autumn of 1 C.E. is one year (there was no zero year). From the autumn of 1 C.E. to the autumn of 1967 is a total of 1,966 years. Adding 4,025 and 1 and 1,966, we get 5,992 years from the autumn of 4026 B.C.E. to the autumn of 1967. Thus, eight years remain to account for a full 6,000 years of the seventh day. Eight years from the autumn of 1967 would bring us to the autumn of 1975, fully 6,000 years into God's seventh day, his rest day.

    6

After 6,000 years of misery, toil, trouble, sickness and death under Satan's rule, mankind is indeed in dire need of relief, a rest. The seventh day of the Jewish week, the sabbath, would well picture the final 1,000-year reign of God's kingdom under Christ when mankind would be uplifted from 6,000 years of sin and death. (Rev. 20:6) Hence, when Christians note from God's timetable the approaching end of 6,000 years of human history, it fills them with anticipation. Particularly is this true because the great sign of the "last days" has been in the course of fulfillment since the beginning of the "time of the end" in 1914. And, as Jesus said, "this generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur." (Matt. 24:34) Some of the generation that discerned the beginning of the time of the end in 1914 will still be alive on earth to witness the end of this present wicked system of things at the battle of Armageddon.--Rev. 16:14, 16.

    7

The immediate future is certain to be filled with climactic events, for this old system is nearing its complete end. Within a few years at most [now running on 37 years] the final parts of Bible prophecy relative to these "last days" will undergo fulfillment, resulting in the liberation of surviving mankind into Christ?s glorious 1,000-year reign. What difficult days, but, at the same time, what grand days are just ahead!

    8

Does this mean that the year 1975 will bring the battle of Armageddon? No one can say with certainty what any particular year will bring. Jesus said: "Concerning that day or the hour nobody knows." (Mark 13:32) Sufficient is it for God's servants to know for a certainty that, for this system under Satan, time is running out rapidly. How foolish a person would be not to be awake and alert to the limited time remaining, to the earthshaking events soon to take place, and to the need to work out one's salvation!

    9

Knowing about God's timetable, where we are in the stream of time, is one thing; using the time available is another. If an understanding of time is valuable, using it wisely is even more so.
