Not if it is criminal activity you can't use religion for criminal activity.
Isn't promoting hate considered criminal activity? There's plenty of evidence of that in their own publications.

Oro,
Your comments are well taken. I do feel however that R Franz could provide some excellent testimony for the prosecution all though the case would not depend on it very much. But what I'm suggesting is,, that if the GB had confidants that would testify in court that they knew they were not what they claimed in thier literature, namely they were not God's Organization and that they knew the Blood ban was not really scriptural and that they still voted to keep the ban in place dispite the loss of life this would incurr they could be held criminally responsible. Add to this the huge damming paper trail and the testimony of prominant ones as to how the GB enforces unwritten polices to keep from being liable in a very underhanded and cruel way you can have a case. I think this type of evidence can also be used in the Anderson case with very damaging testimony for the prosecution against the defendant,,since it would show them to be ruthless manipulators who will stop at nothing to destroy a person reputation.
I also think the GB's treatment of Ed Dunlap can be used as evidence against them. Since it clearly shows the malicious nature of the GB towards those they claim to be carring shepard of.
I would like to suggest to some in Bethel to sign on to JWD and PM the Anderson's if you have anything that could help thier case. Don't forget the whistle blowers law that is in place for your protection.
Methinks they would just love to be found guilty and thrown into prison, that's how the FDS 'class' was appointed, wasnt it. Now that sort of persecution would prove they were right all along, wouldn't it!?
