What if it could be proven in a court of law that the Governing Body knew all along they were not God's channel but still forbade thier followers to take a life saving ,,,,blood transfussion on the pain of Disfellowshipment????Do you know how much evidence against them would be found right in thier own literature that would be able to hang those guys in court??

The GB better hope they never revealed to anyone thier disbeleif even in the slightest way,,just alittle slip of the tongue is all it will take,,, because you never know???? The more different members of the GB have slipped the worse it gets.

What if certain individuals would testify in court who were close very close to the GB what would happen???Serious deadly fruad I think some prision time might even occur.

If the GB knew of such a person they would not be able touch him because of the whistleblowers law!!!!!

I think the court proceedings could make world news since they are a worldwide organization. If it ever when to court and people would be disgusted all over the world,,worldy people which the GB preached so much bad things about saying they diserved to be distroyed by God even thier children. I think it would make a very notable case.

Haveing the Friends sign thier Blood Cards at the meetings were an elder can witness it sure was a very stupid move,,whos bright idea was that????That would go very badly for them in court if that's brought up at a trial for criminal neglagence in my opinion.

Not if it is criminal activity you can't use religion for criminal activity. If they have reliable witnesses that the GB knew they were not God's channel and they still went ahead and voted to keep the ban in place they are criminally negligent,,and could do time in prision!!!!

While it is true that many judges know that most hard core strict authoritaian sect leaders are liars,,as it is plain see if they claim to speak for God,, it should be an easy case.

THEY COULD USE AS EVIDENCE ALL THE UNDERHANDED THINGS THE GOVERNING BODY DID,,THEY HAVE A HUGE PAPER TRAIL AND SECRET LETTERS AND C.O. AND D.O. ELDERS AND OTHER TYPE OF OVERSEERS THAT COULD TESTIFY AGAINST THEM IN COURT.

IT- WOULD- BE -BRUTAL!!!!!

I bet the federal government would prosecut if enough witnesses came forth. All you people in Bethel Can get a free ride out of the cult and get compansated by the WT to boot for the hold they had on you thru the threat of disfellowshipping and you need to have a place to live and retire because you became old in free service to them because you believed a bunch of harmful liars who use underhanded tricks to keep you as a slave. And now you might be threaten with disfellowshipping if you turned evidence against them. I think bethel legal department will advice them not to because of a case now pending concerning the whistle blower voilation they are already faced with. I think if just a couple came out to report them many would follow. I betch legal will advise the GB to be very careful in how they treat you,,check with a good lawyer first before you do any thing.

Actually, I recall reading in Crisis of Conscience, where Ray Franz mentioned a comment about 1914 that was made by one of the other GB members. I can't remember which one made the comment, but basically he said "..I know that Jehovah is God and Jesus is His son. But as for the idea that Jesus started ruling in 1914....well.....I just hope we're right about that."
