Gsark....all I can say is I'm sorry for what you've been thru....first a physical rape and then a spiritual and emotional rape....keep your head up and your heart healthy and you'll be fine...Sorry, don't know much about JW policies anymore...da'd almost 4 years ago and threw all my literature in the trash....and it was A LOT...poor trashman!!!!! Rapists and the wts have something in common. They're both into domination and control. Only the methodology differs. One tortures using sex the other tortures thru mental control.

I'm curious about one thing you said, gsark. You mentioned you still have a daughter "in". How does she view her mother being disfellowshipped because she was the victim of a crime? Seems to me, that would be pretty difficult for a daughter to rationalize.
And may I add my sympathy for your ordeal, as well as my outrage towards the perpetrators.

In any case it doesn't look as tho I can help her. Of the four kids I raised 'in the truth' (translation: dragged down with me)three are out and I guess it's time to be grateful for them. As far as the last one (she was the oldest and therefore was 'in' the longest) I just have to pray, like so many others on this board with family 'in'.

I've been out since 1989, so I can't say anything about policy.
I do have to say this: I am profoundly disturbed by what happened to you. In my opinion the men who DF'd you are as much criminals as the man who attacked you. I don't normally wish ill of people, but I wouldn't mind having five minutes with all of them and a baseball bat.
I hope the support here as been helpful to you.
