I'm too new to the idea that it ain't the truth! LOL

My belief system is pretty much shattered, and I'm not prepared to sift through it yet to figure out what bits I'm going to salvage from the wreckage. For the time being, I still believe there is a God (who's name might be Jehovah or something equivalent) and in Jesus Christ. But that may change too.

The ONLY thing I've held onto is the idea of intelligent design of the universe...not THEIR version of it, just the general concept that the universe shows some evidence that it may have been purposefully designed by an intelligent force or forces.

Sith, you may be right. I'm waiting for the dust cloud in my mind to settle first. LOL Right now I'm finding it hard to believe in anything at all. Time will tell. I do know that organized religion of any sort doesn't interest me much.

A couple......I don't believe Jesus is part of a trinity.....I think he was a man........and I still believe in Jehovah----just not this religion.

There are a few doctrinal ideas I still agree with such as no physical resurrection of Jesus' body and the metaphorical understanding of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (ie no super mystical triune God)

Interesting! I think these are the weakest of all Watchtower doctrines, each to his own.

I say this because of Christs strong emphasis that he had been resurrected as flesh and bone rather than as a spirit. I think this is the teaching that exposes JWs as false witnesses.

1 Cor 15:14 If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also in vain. Yes, and we are found FALSE WITNESSES OF GOD.
