Joyz ... I'm sorry to hear how merciless and cruel the elders were in your case. The elders go off on a tanget, believing they are inspiredTM. As with me, it seems they get wind of something, then over-react from a place of fear. No big surprise, though ... the entire religion is based on fear. Not sure what they are inspired with ... I'm thinking *spirits* of some sort ... hehehe!!!
For anyone caught in their fear-based web ... just know you (and me) are waaaaay better off free from that cult. Getting df'd was a blessing for me, as it "forced" me to deal with the truth about who I am. I realized I could never fit their jw mould ... because I was choosing to grow and think on my own, without being spoon fed anymore... and I like it!!!
