So the bible says not to eat blood, so the witnesses refuse blood transfusions. The bible also says not to eat pork. So why do witnesses eat pork?

Mosaic LAW RESTRICTIONS WERE REMOVED WHEN Jesus was nailed to the torture stake

The bible is clearly talking about animal blood, so why are transfusions not allowed. Or, were there cannibals back 2000+ years that actually ate human blood, thus the JW's blood ban. JW's know something everyone else doesn't?

The bible also says not to eat fat. Do JW's order a supersized bag of, full of fat, fries when they visit McDonalds (are they allowed to go to Micky D's and order a big mac combo meal or a happy meal?)

Was not eating blood not part of the law? Bryan Have You Seen My Mother

Although Eating Blood was part of the law and Witnesses believe Chritians are no longer part of the Mosaic law, they use the two scriptures in the New Testament, Acts 15:20 and Acts 15:29

"But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood."

"That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well."

Jehovah's Witnesses have taken those two phrases "and from Blood" and "Abstain from blood" out of the context of which it is written and have applied to the modern day practice of blood transfusions, which is a complete missrepresentation of scripture. I hope one day their man made rules will change so people can live.
