I could relate to much of your story. My mother tried that guilt manipulation on me about my kids..and I admit...it worked for a while. When we first leave, we have trouble defining all the reasons we "feel" it is wrong. It takes us awhile to "know" why it was wrong. I am SO glad you have made it as far as you have, and your kids will have a chance at a "normal" life. My kids are, and they are LOVING every minute of it!

Stacey, I always tell everyone that comes to the board, welcome and you are not alone. That was the best part of finding this board back in May, I found people that thought like I do and have the same experiences that I did and can totally relate to me.
Unlike "worldly" people that just look at you and tell you "how could you do that".
Oh well, welcome to the board both of you.
Stace, it's thursday, drinkin' night!
