....he was just too tough an act to follow, even for himself.
He was truly ahead of his own time. I often wondered, " Micheal, how're you going to top this one? " Then, just like a real trooper, he'd wind up pulling something outta' 'da hat. I think all entertainers of his calibre reach a point where they just can't out do they own self. -

I had bought all his albums up to and including "Thriller". My oldest daughter (pioneer) hounded the hell out of me to toss it when all that flap about debasing music was drilled into us.
She went through all my albums and picked out the ones that she felt were "wrong". Out went my Commodores (Brick House), MJ, and a few others that I don't recall right now.
I had a lot of favorites (MJ) but if I had to pick one----it would be "Human Nature"......................(don't EVEN go there!)
