Half full especially as far as these points go

Have you experienced human dishonesty, falsification, hypocrisy, and devious argumentations?

I don't let the fact that I have over-expierienced the above drag me down. I can stay positive. In this pessimistic world.

I see a cheeseburger, with grilled onions and mushrooms.. Oh and beer battered onion rings so good, you can taste the beer!

Sorry, I can't relate to the water since I never drink anything with my meals.

If I saw the glass half empty I would have jumped in front of a train many many years ago.

I really believe my ability to find the positives has kept me alive through every kind of abuse I can think of -- that would include:

    • childhood physical, emotional, and sexual abuse
    • spousal abuse (emotional, financial and sexual)
    • political abuse (being an English speaking person in Quebec ain't for the faint of heart)
    • and let's not forget spiritual abuse

I do have to work at being realistic but my hopes are always expecting things to work out or rather that I will find a way to make things work out

I see another freakin dish to wash...

j/k...if I'm filling it it's half full, if I'm drinking from it it's half empty, and either way it will continue to be filled and emptied (and washed) and filled and emptied (and washed) ad infinitum (or until broken or discarded).

That's all. That's life, eh? Sometimes I enjoy, embrace and appreciate the process and sometimes I feel like the dude who said: "Tired of this eternal buttoning and unbuttoning." But I always know it's gonna change around again.

    Half Empty or Half Full?

Would an optimist say a glass is half full,
Where a pessimist would say it is half empty?
A glass may be made of anything,
But its function lies in its emptiness.
That emptiness may be filled with whatever we choose.
    The optimist sees future potential;
The pessimist sees only what is gone.
While others grow thirsty as they debate this point,
    EvilForce drinks the water,
    And is refreshed.
