But you accept that Jesus (also Paul and Barnabus) were quite content about going into places of worship and even preaching there, though that which as taught there was not necessarily totally in order?
Even where he castigated members of certain groups, was he condemning the lot? For example, when talking to the Pharisees, did he also include Nicodemus? Did he truly make blanket statements about institutions?
Wasn't he more to the point about saying "what they tell you to do, do, but don't follow their actions"?
That doesn't sounds too much like a rally to total abandonment of religious institutions, to me. That having been said, I believe that we're all entitled to our own interpretation of such non-essential things.
