What is there in the opposite sex beyond the physical side that can add to a relationship? Do you believe that for a relationship to be complete and meaningful these other hard to define abstract elements have to be operative in it?
Non physical aspects of relationships.

I think the most important thing in any relationship is just being BEST friends. When you choose to spend your life with someone and hope that it IS forever, until death puts an end to it...if you don't LIKE the person as the years go by; you're doomed. Sex is important; but being friends is more important .

Absolutely -just the shear femininity of women I love - the feeling and listening quality - the ability to shed aa littel tear -all add to the aura and mystery of women - they are hard to define and I am struggling to put into words - but these are just as - if not more important - than physical aspects. The verbal tones in the voice also I love

I just saw my best friend after not speaking a word to her for years. Just being with her made me happier than I have ever been since we parted. It wasn't the sex that made it great, it wasn't the things we said to each other that we both agreed on or laughed about.
It was the things we didn't have to say that meant so much, the explanations you would normally have to give or the excuses for your actions you may have to give. The best part is being with someone who knows all the bad things about you, and loves you anyway.

Word. I couldn't have said it better myself... Nothing like a lady friend.
