It took me a while to realise that the world would be better off without them as I used to think that they served a useful social purpose eg helping some drug addicts. Then I realised that they did far more harm than good and that the world would better off without JWs.

Some worry "what if?" What if it IS the truth and I die?.......I know better, though.

Minimus that was one thing that never bothered me because I knew that they weren't anything unique as they claimed, and no special salvation could be derived from them.
If anything they are on balance worse than other christian religions because they aggresively seek to control their members lives.
