I am not a Jevoha's Witness...and I have some questions for you.
1. Wasn't Jesus set to return in 1874 according to your history?
2. If you believe the Bible, the Bible says that Jesus came for the salvation of ALL men, not just 144000 of them.
3. If only 144,000 people are allowed to go to Heaven with God, then why did God send Jesus to earth? God's eternal life is a gift, not something you have to work for.

1. Yes origianlly the founder of the religion thought Jesus returned invisibly in 1874, this has since changed to 1914. This is just one example of many of the exasperating doctrinal changes over the years.
2. Jehovah's witnesses believe Jesus came to earth to save 2 classes of people. 144,000 to have heavenly life and to give the opportunity of everlasting life to the rest of redeemable mankind. The 2 classes teaching is obtained from quoting scriptures out of context and otherwise dishonest propaganda.
3. Witnesses believe it is a gift that you must do something to obtain. They incorrectly/dishonestly translate "believe" as "exercising faith"
hasnt 1914 passed too...how can you believe something that changes constantly?
Many of us here are ex-JW's and don't believe in their teachings anymore.

Yes 1914 passed, so Witnesses believe Jesus has been invisible reigning as king since then. subduing in the midst of his enemies.
It is possible to believe such changing doctrines because of mindcontrol tactics of JWs are strong.

AFIN she knows what she believes and dont need you to tell her what to do. She's trying to get a handle on how people can be so ridiculous.

BTW..an apostate is simply one who no longer thinks that the JW are the only true religion. JW's believe all but JW's will be put to death very shortly at Armageddon.
