I was told that 2 "anointed" Witnesses that had recently (on the night of the Memorial) picketed in front of the Kingdom Hall were sent registered letters inviting them to a judicial committee meeting. The husband had told the elders when they first called last week that the elders should call off the meeting because his wife had once again had major tremors and had to be hospitalized due to being sent the letter. And that the elders should realize that they would surely get legal action against them if anything happened to his wife. It didn't matter. They got their letter yesterday. All they did is picket with signs exposing the pedophilia in the Organization and their involvement with the UN......... That's all they did.

Is this story from a reliable source? Just wondering if it's someone you know or not.

There have been protests in front of our local diocese here that Catholics have attended, and none of them were excommunicated. Cult, anyone?

Unfortunately as far as the elders are concerned they are fullblown apostates. Exposing Jehovah's name to shame is a no-no.

Full of Crap isn't it? Sometimes I can't believe I believed so much for so long.

If you have the gall to call the WTBTS out on THEIR conduct or BEHAVIOR then you're out the door with a quickness. Wonder how many memorial attendies have been on the web since the picketing . "Come to the web all ye who are burdened down with heavy books & mags. you can't place cause nobody wants them, come, come to net and you will find refreshment for your souls ... bwaaaaaaaahhhhaaaaaahhhaaaaa

You said it well! Unfortunately the Inquisition has begun and no stone will be left unturned. Maybe the brothers will increase the number of meetings to keep the flock busier and away from the web. But based on Randy's Bethel log, it doesn't seem to be working.

Anyone who hasn't seen Randy's Bethel log should - it is a REAL GEM, saw some of you on there from here. "Good associations" is what I've been finding.

I'll have to go check it out. Thanks Lawrence.

I don't see any way they can stem the tide of exposes' of the WTBTS. The way I see it, the only ones left in the next 3 - 5 years will be the old-timers and those absolutely too fearful to find out the truth (the die hard captives). But for all the downhearted, depressed, disgruntled and plain old thinking witnesses ... it's only a matter of time.

    ......... That's all they did.

Yes , to us and the rest of the world it seems quite reasonable to speak out against perceived injustice, and we are using the principles of a free society. However, The WTS is not a free society. The elders who hear their case will no doubt be convinced that 1] The WTS has fully answered the allegation about UN involvement and 2] the child abuse thing has been greatly exagerated by "apostates"

by speaking out, your friends are just "Acting in the hands of Satan", after it could not be true, could it? So they must be dealt with severely.

Hang on here.......if you're "annointed", doesn't that mean that by WT definition that you're one of Christ's brothers?? Doesn't that position outrank elders by a long shot? How can a lowly "elder" possibly judge one of Christ's brethren?

Lemme guess: These two annointed Witnesses were not baptized before 1935 and hence, their partaking of the emblems is met with great disgust and disbelief by everyone else, right? Be that as it may, these guys should have known immediately that if you picket outside any KH, you're gonna end up with your spiritual ass in a sling. It makes absolutely no difference whatsoever that what they're protesting about is absolutely true---the fact is, they're "bringing reproach upon Jehovah's name" and that's all the elders care about. These elders should be made aware, in even stronger language, that if this woman dies or if the elders try to besmirch their name, that they'll be bringing a lawsuit against these elders as individuals and that if they think they'll be getting any financial help from "Mother", they better check with Bethel, cause they won't be getting squat. Are these elders prepared to lose their houses and any other assets they own, just to see 2 people DF'd?

    What morons.
