I'm not sure it should scare us that it is Federally funded. The money is there for the taking - for ANYBODY.
If an apostate with directorial skills could wade through the paperwork and present a good case for a "real" JW Documentary and took the time to make it look like it is showing both sides, they could also have access to this kind of funding.
It is a lot of hoops to jump through though, and one has to be pretty rabidly devoted to getting the money.

There is going to be a program on 20/20 next Friday on Kabalah. Maybe, they being in a religious mood might want to do a show on jw's. I think by the trailers, they are using the celebrity angle as well as opposers. There are enough celeb. jw's to do the same. Any thought on writing 20/20? carla
