I loved the BBC version so much that I bought the DVD box set. When the US version came out, it was ok. The casting is good, but not as electrifying as the BBC one. The people who make up the UK 'Office' were perfectly cast.
Another NBC show that didn't last long and one that I loved was Hidden Hills. Very funny if you are married and in the 25-40ish age group.
I think Ricky Gervais has a new show called Extras or something to that effect, i can't wait for that to air, IMO Ricky Gervais made The Office
I saw the first episode of the American remake of the Office, and I thought it was ok.
No where near as good as the original. The script was very very similar, so why even bother remaking it? Carrol seems to 'act' to much, where as you just though Gervais was Brent, and he wasn't acting at all, just 'being Brent'
