I know that my view of things changed while I was at Bethel (Watchtower Farm). It was not what I expected. A lot of the behavior of those in power surprised me. But I was so gung ho to change myself from being homosexual that my feelings about other things took a back seat.
Are Bethelites more likely to leave the JWs than others?

Anyone who climbs the organisational ladder gathers higher reasons to leave and higher reasons to stay. Characters and circumstances make the difference.
This statement is so true it gives me goosebumps. It fits my experience at Bethel to a tee ... and is true based on my experience with others who have left ... or would secretly like to leave.
