The WT's growth in the US and abroad,, it's anti-government propaganda,,and its policy of DF'n people who choose to join the military,, or get involved in politics,, the fact that it is an internation organization,, must surely warrent some attention from the CIA, as well as the IRS.

they dont need. As they are sitting on a place where they dont belong thaey have much power in that way that the simple JW accepts everything that stems from them.

and they have learned by history eg. The order "Socitey of Jesus" (Jesuits have too a governing body) or Macchiavelli ( his works tell how to eliminate peoples).

but in regard to their apporach they use typical marketing concepts since the times of the judge.

No, they would never use the CIA as a first step. I think they might hire image consultants or make a limited contract with a PR firm first.

As I have learned from personal experience - and I share this for free - big sins don't just come out of the blue. There are iddy-biddy little tell tale signs along the way. The jump from one side of the continuum (No consulation whatsoever with worldy agencies) to the other side (Sleeping with 'em) is huuuggge.

So, you start out, little by little. It goes like this:

"Hey we're losin' way too many kids and their parents are gettin' a lot more anxious and restless than even we think they should be. Maybe we should hire some professional group...just to consult...looking only for some ideas that are consistent with God's word...Be reassured this will not be documented anywhere brothers... it's strictly in the interests of protecting Jehovah's sacred work here on earth." We may even generate a couple of documents in advance that repudiate the whole idea of consulting a worldy agency.

Today: It could well be contracting with a psychological consultancy that specialises in assessing and treating adolescent conduct disorders; two years time: "Cut the crap, brothers. We're in deep shit...and we need help. Let's go to the Top. No, not the Top in the heavens above. The Top in the good old U S of A: The CIA. We need practical help this time. The kids and their parents are leavin'!"

Not the CIA I don't think, but I imagine they use plenty of non-JW sources.

I can't imagine the CIA meddling with religions unless there is a political stake which doesn't exist with the JWs.

I don't think the GB would use a PR or consulting firm. Unless they're having changes of heart, they're too full of themselves and high on their own power to ask for others advice (except legal). Unfortunately they DO follow their lawyers' advice and get their way alot of times.

Even if the GB were to use some consulting agency, and it were one of the CIA's fronts, the CIA wouldn't really care much about this business to prop it up or take it down. The JW literature today is much more tamely worded in their condemnations of governments than in Da Judge's time. The CIA has more dangerous radical groups to keep tabs on nowadays.
