    Brooke,

There's a difference between being "not guilty" of specific charges and being "not guilty" of being a child molestor. Personally, I think MJ probably is a molestor, but I still agree with the verdicts as I never bought the bogus story of his accuser and his freaky mom. Remember, we can't imprison MJ just because we think he's a molestor. We have to convict him on specific charges. The burden is on the prosecution to do that, and in the case recently concluded, they failed to do that. The blame goes to Tom Sneddon for allowing his personal hatred for Jackson to cloud his professional judgment. It doesn't take a great lawyer to figure out that a case built almost entirely on the testimony of a couple of scammers with a documented history of opportunistic and sometimes fraudulent conduct is going to fail, especially when the defendant has the resources of MJ.

As for the book you mentioned, despite the allegations of the article you quoted, I'm willing to bet my house that it doesn't legally constitute child pornography. If it did, MJ would definitely be in jail right now on charges of possessing child porn. Sneddon would most definitely have charged him with it if he could have.

    I agree 144001!

Yes, he was found " Not Guilty'...However, as of yet he hasn't been found Guilty! My personal opinion of him, is there is a Chance, he is a Child molester!

Do I agree, with the Jury, YES! If I was put on the jury, I would base my choice on what was giving to me, not what I think personally.

As humans we all judge on what we FEEL. Is it right? Yes and No. I would never want to be someone that would have the choice, to put a man behind bars. If I had to, I would have done the same as the Jury.

I do not think you are getting my point. I am say yes to the decision. No to the Outside facts!

Brooke, I looked at the book in question on the link you provided. I didn't really see anything offensive in it to me. Some people are very uncomfortable with humans being naked. Others see the beauty in the human body.

But if this is the most damning piece of evidence they produced I think the prosecution should be horse whipped.

The article you posted by Ms. Diamond is a bunch of self serving crap. There wasn't any hard evidence in her entire article. She only wanted to demonize MJ. Yes he's a freak show. No I wouldn't let my child stay with him. But lawyers and people with axes to grind can take any random fact and spin it anyway they choose.

If prosecuters entered your house Brooke can you honestly say you wouldn't have anything in your house that may raise eyebrows? A vibrator where a child may find it? Porn of your hubby's hidden somewhere? Internet files you'd prefer the entire world not know about?

I'm sorry Brooke, but I don't find those images pornographic, nor would ownership of them convince me that an individual was a paedophile.

EF..... I can say in all honesty you can search my house top to bottom! You will not find anything! I Never EVER took pictures of my kids naked in the bath tub thinking it could get into the wrong hands! Or someone would think bad of me! That is my choice.

You don't have a child! You do not have a Son. When you do then take a look at the Book. Not just the Cover!

    Brooke

p.s. Sorry about the article...it was the only thing I could find on the Book that I think is wrong.

At the end of the day, the book is obviously not something that legally constitutes child porn. So the question is whether posssesion of such a book is morally acceptable. The problem with this question is who decides what is morally acceptable? Jerry Falwell? John Ashcroft? Who? Therein lies the danger of censorship; it's a slippery slope and it requires subjective judgments which would most likely be made by those least qualified to do so.

BTW, FYI, I don't have (and never have had) any books or magazines or digital files that depict naked children in them. However, I do have nude bathing photos of my kids when they were babies; less than a year old. I guess they could probably use that against me to accuse me of wrongdoing. We really are an uptight society.

That we are...I don't want my kids taken from me because I think them playing in the bath tub is cute.
