So where does it state that the Big A would come at the end of some "creative" day?

Where does it state that the time from Adams creation till Eve's has ANY significance (besides being totally unproveable)? For if this were true, than surely Satan knows the day and hour as he was there and could easily make some needed calculations, as could other "spirit" creatures. Smells like feces to me...

I'd always heard as a Dub at numerous Assembly's and talks that Noah preached for 70 years... says who?

How come Jesus (a supposedly perfect man) didn't start his "ministry" till he was 30, yet us imperfect lumps of worm food are to spend our ENTIRE life imitating the man who started his "spiritual" calling at 30... am I just not getting it?

Or am I just truly an "apostate", worthy of being brutally killed for even contemplating the using of my gawd given intellect?

Ok you want to know how to come up with these numbers. My theory is:

[1] Read the bible till your eyes ache...

[2] Read it agsin till your brain hurts, then read it again...

    [3] Drink lots of alchol

[4] Write down what ever comes into your head...

    Divine inspriation!

Here is a typical WTS approach to something like this.

First, tell something that is stated in the Bible.

Jehovah indicated this destruction 120 years in advance.

Second, tell something that is a supposition using words like perhaps or likely.

More than twenty years pass, and Noah has three sons. The sons grow to manhood and marry, as perhaps fifty or sixty more years slip by. Then Jehovah God tells Noah of the impending flood and instructs that righteously disposed man to build the ark for the preservation of himself and his family. For some forty or fifty years before the deluge Noah gave a warning witness of its coming, and thereby earned the designation "preacher of righteousness".

Third, follow by one or more cited scriptures that say absolutedly nothing about the second point but it looks like there is scriptural basis. They bet that the average JW will not look up the scriptures anyway.

    (Gen. 6:3, 13, 18; 2 Pet. 2:5)
