Nice hutch Gary. I see it even matches the kitchen? cabinets behind it. *just saw the entertainment system - drools* I take it this is what you do for a living? That shop looks like my dad's.

Your chairs look very nice. It looks like ya got a finish on em.

The curio cabinet is ash. The entertainment center is cherry. I started woodworking as a hobby when I was 24. I went into the cabinetmaking business when I was 30 and sold it when I was 48. Now I have a 32 x 48 detached wood shop with 4 shapers, two saws, mortice machine, and a widebelt sander.

I made 9 Adirondack chairs for my place a few years ago and more for gifts and apartment yard use. I made mine from cedar and the materials was running between 80 and $100 each. I make mine with a down leg at the back of the arms for strength. I glue with PL200 and screw together with deck screws. I tried varnishing em but now I just leave em unfinished.

I post on Woodnet as ash.
