Awsome movie! A definate Go See.
In the tradition of the Batman series of movies, Batman was played by yet another actor - Christian Bale. This is the same actor who played Cleric John Preston in Equilibrium (2002) (another awsome movie).
For the Fight Club fans out there... this movie is like watching the activites of Fight Club from the outside.
I cut out of work early to see this today. I second that thumbs up. Batman's my favorite superhero and this movie goes back to the darker feel of the one Tim Burton directed, except it's 5% better imo. I'm a sucker for a great back story.
I agree guys. I've been waiting over like a year and a half to see this movie ever since I found out Christopher Nolan, who did "Memento", was directing it. Even went to see them film some of the scenes last Summer. I recommend everyone check it out.
Oh, and if you liked the movie, pick up the video game...It expounds upon some of the things in the movie, and lets you sneak up on criminals to strike fear in them.

i agree also, a great movie. christian bale is a top actor, good in all the movies i've seen of his.
Scotsman didn't like it because he likes art-house movies like "Cremaster 3" - his avatar.
Took the family to see batman returns today. Wow. This will be added to our DVD collection when it comes availble.
This was the best Batman ever!!! Awesome!
