Torvill and Deans.
I met them about 6 or 7 times and got their autographs each time.
I got Lynn Swan's autograph when I was in high school...he was a retired football player, used to play for the patriots...was there to talk about drugs etc.
Jenny Thompson...the olympic swimmer. Got it for my son. We actually were in high school together, well I was a few years ahead of her. We never hung out in high school, but it was cool that someone from my town made it to the olympics. (Actually, one of my teacher's daughters made to the olympics as a runner)
And Mr. McFeely from Mr Roger's Neighborhood. A family friend got it for my son when he was little.
I don't know where any of these are. Probably in a box somewhere.
I was always kind of a slouch about asking for autographs but I do have one: Hugh Jackman.
There might be others that people have gotten for me, but I can't remember what (or where) they are right now.
Clayton Moore...who will always be The Lone Ranger.
Bernard Hill!
(Whaddayamean who's Bernard Hill? He's the gizzajob guy from boys from the black stuff)
I once forged Mike Gatting's autograph for a friend. I'd promised him Mike Gatting's autograph, but when I asked for it Gatting told me to *ahem* sling my hook. In fairness to Gatting he was rather busy leading his team out onto the field of play at the time.
ig. (of the pathetic autograph collection class)
David Crosby, Graham Nash, and the Apostle Paul.
Robert Plant. If you don't know who he is go home!!! Met him in Byron Bay and had a chat. Like meeting god!!!
John Philpin
I have a J. C. Penny autographed copy of Fifty Years With The Golden Rule in my collection.
My favorite are music tapes. When I was in Pigeon Forge in 1993, I had Little Roy Wiggins autograph one each of all of his tapes that he had available.
I have a signed hockey card from Guy LaFluer......
